Al Hayba (The Prestige)(2017)

Al-Hayba: Al-Awda (The Return) is the second season of the Lebanese-Syrian Arabic drama series Al-Hayba, comprising 30 episodes of approximately 45 minutes each, produced by Cedars Art Production and directed by Samer Al-Barkawi, with screenplay by Hozan Akko and Basem Al-Salka. Serving as a prequel that uses flashback to illuminate the events of Season 1, the season centres on Jabal Sheikh Al-Jabal's quest for revenge following his father's assassination, which plunges his clan into endless tribal conflict with the Saeed family and forces him to confront new adversaries alone. The series stars Taim Hassan as Jabal, alongside Nicole Saba (replacing Season 1 lead Nadine Nassib Njeim), veteran actress Mona Wassef as the family matriarch, and an ensemble cast including Oweiss Mkhallalati, Abdo Chahine, Rafik Ali Ahmad, and Rozina Lazzighini. It aired during Ramadan 2018 on MBC1, MTV Lebanon, Roya TV, and Al-Sumaria, building on the pan-Arab audience of over 116 million viewers reached by the first season.
