Jad Abu Ali is a Lebanese actor, director, producer, and screenwriter with over a decade of experience across Arab film and television. Since his 2012 debut in the horror feature Maskoun, he has built a career spanning more than 31 series and films, including standout roles as Jad Daher in MBC's Beirut Bride, Samurai in The Secret, and his leading role in the Amazon Prime series Girl's Play, making him the first Arab-Lebanese actor to headline an Arab Amazon Prime original.
In 2023, Jad expanded into filmmaking with Yanal, his debut feature as writer, director, producer, and star. The film premiered in cinemas across Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and the UAE, streamed on STARZPLAY, and was selected for Qatar, Saudi, Emirates, Turkish and Jordanian Airways' in-flight movies, making him the youngest Arab actor to write, direct, produce, and star in a feature film.
Holding a Master's degree in Acting and Directing and a certification as an Acting Coach, Jad is also an accomplished voiceover artist, having lent his voice to over 60 titles for Netflix, National Geographic, Disney, and MBC3, including Scooby-Doo and Superman. A fluent speaker of Arabic, English, French, and Turkish, he is an inventor with 17+ patents, and an active member of the Lebanese and Egyptian Actors Syndicates.
