Wa Rufi'at Al-Jalsah (Court Dismissed) is a 1981 Lebanese drama film produced during the period of the Lebanese Civil War. The story centres on a young woman who is widowed early in life, expelled from her land, and left with only her young son to raise; to provide for him she works as a domestic servant in others' homes, yet never surrenders her dignity in the face of harassment and repeated attempts at humiliation. Lebanese actor and producer Shawki Matta featured in the film as part of an active career spanning Lebanese and Egyptian cinema throughout the war years.
